Vincent Puech Singer, arranger, composer and choir director, Vincent Puech started his musical training as a classical guitarist. From the age of twenty he moved on to composition and singing. Starting in 1997, he provided the bass voice for the musical show
Goût télé 4 , in which a quartet of singer-actors sang (a Capella) and mimed to an anthology of programs and cartoons from the 1970s; the show was a great media success for several years. During the same period he composed the repertoire for his own jazz quartet, working with Bruce Bégout for the English
lyrics. As composer he worked for various vocal groups (for example,
NougaSuite for choir and jazz trio) and also wrote the music for a number of television documentaries, custom music and jingles for radio (example, Autoroute FM). As choir director and arranger, Vincent currently directs the vocal ensemble
Jazzalam (a Capella)
. Since 1999 he has been a member of the vocal group
Octovoice , created and directed by Sylvain Beuf (saxophonist), with singers Laurence Saltiel, Brigitte Jacquot, Laura Littardi and Thierry Péala, accompanied by Emmanuel Bex (Hammond organ) and Louis Moutin (drums)
